Capricorn's Aftermath

The Uneven Stars
Blue, a Gemini with a whirlwind of ideas and a heart full of laughter, had fallen for JayJ, a Capricorn whose quiet strength anchored him. Their connection was electric, a blend of Blue's vibrant energy and JayJ's steady calm. However, their relationship was met with disapproval from Blue's tight-knit group of friends.
The Gathering
It was a typical Saturday night at their usual cafe. Tens, the meticulous Virgo, tapped her fingers impatiently. "Blue, you know JayJ isn't...your type."
"What's my type, Tens?" Blue asked, a playful glint in his eyes.
"Someone spontaneous, adventurous," Tens replied, "Not someone who schedules every hour of their day."
Across the table, Blaise, the fiery Aries, scoffed. "He's too serious. Where's the fun?"
Solitude and Trepidation
The city's pulse was a distant hum, a stark contrast to the frantic beat of Blue's heart. Streetlights cast long, distorted shadows, turning the familiar into something menacing. Blue, a Gemini whose usual effervescence had been dimmed to a flicker, found themselves alone. JayJ, the Capricorn, had left without a second glance, disappearing into the night.
Blue was left in a forgotten corner of the city, near a graveyard, its wrought-iron gates looming like skeletal fingers. The air was heavy with the scent of damp earth and decaying flowers. Every rustle of leaves sounded like a whispered threat.
The uneven stars, which Blue usually found comforting, now felt distant and indifferent. They offered no guidance, no solace. Blue was left alone with their thoughts, the silence broken only by the occasional howl of a distant dog. The city, with all its lights and sounds, had never felt so empty.
The Flickering Candle
The apartment was bathed in the soft, orange glow of the setting sun, but Blue found little comfort in its warmth. The rhythmic ticking of the grandfather clock on the mantel seemed to echo the anxious beat of his heart. He sat at the worn kitchen table, the flickering flame of a lone candle his only companion.
Blue's hand trembled slightly as he reached for a pen and a crumpled piece of paper. He needed to find the right words, the words that would express his fears and longing without pushing JayJ away.
"JayJ, I cherish the time we've spent together. You've brought so much joy into my life. But I need honesty, I need to know if your feelings are as deep as mine."
